Résumé : |
This work, which is the result of four years’ almost uninterrupted labour, is issued to be regarded as the standard work on the common identity of Med-Iranian, and has been conducted based on documents and evidence and via utilization of descriptive-comparative methods and suggests to reinterpret the identity of Iranian people and also the history of Iran, away from the ideological influence of agent orientalists. We approach a new reading which, no doubt, abolishes the dominant nationalist ideology in Iran which properly we have called it Pan-Persianism. It may well be asked, then, what is the meaning of Pan-Persianism? Indeed Pan-Persianism or Persian-centre historiography is a result of Greek understanding and was born when the Greek historians begun to write the history of their eastern neighbour.
With the accession of Sâsânian dynasty, Khwadây-Nâmag became the common ancestor of self-identification until Qâjâr era, but shortly afterwards Pan-Persianism was renewed by the British. In chapter III., we have referred the second British agent, and have mentioned his aims in other to declare from the Tobacco riot up to the establishment of the Assembly (Majlis) as a Pan-Persian revolutionary time. In this chapter, we aim to highlight his historical falsification; we do reject the Pan-Persian revolution and have proved to the reader that, on the one hand, the aims of Authoritarian Sâdât (Behbahâni and Tabâtabâei) were an opportunism, and on the other hand, constitutionalism was only a political ladder provided by British for the Pan-Persian Ascendency...
